Panel repair & replacement in Coventry

Dented, creased or torn panels repaired, or replaced and painted to match where repair is not the right call. We do not do chassis or jig straightening.

Body & paint

Repaired where possible, replaced where not

Dents and creases that have not stretched or torn the metal too far can usually be worked back into shape and refinished. Where a panel is too far gone, we fit a replacement and paint it to match the rest of the car.

This covers wings, doors, bonnets and boot lids. We do not do chassis or jig straightening - if a car needs that, we will say so.

Common questions

How much does panel repair cost?
It is quoted on inspection because the price depends heavily on the panel and the damage. Send photos and we will give you a guide the same day.
Do you do chassis or jig straightening?
No. We do not do chassis or jig straightening. If a car needs that, we will tell you rather than take the job on.
How do you decide between repair and replacement?
If the panel can be brought back straight without weakening it, we repair it. If it is too creased or torn, or replacement works out better value, we fit a new panel and paint it to match.
How long does it take?
This is confirmed with your quote once we know whether it is a repair or a replacement.

Aftercare

Looking after it afterwards

  • Don't wash anything painted with chemicals (traffic film remover, snow foam, strong shampoos) for 3 to 4 weeks while the new paint fully hardens.
  • Hand wash with plain water and a soft mitt in that time, and keep pressure washers well back from the repair.
  • Hold off on waxing or polishing the repaired area for 30 days.

We send these again by email when you collect the car.
